About The Band
Rhythymlife with Albert Irving is an American Rock/ Pop band. They are a nationally distributed music group based in the Topeka/ Lawrence Kansas area whose music itinerary a vast amount of both classic and contemporary covers along with their own nationally released music catalog. Taking a closer look the story of how the band came to exist in its present form is one of both tragedy and triumph. Rhythymlife was founded some 22 years ago by bassist Darrell Braden along with his brother and then (drummer) Mike "Tony" Braden along with longtime friend (singer) Michele "Dasanni" Cooper who at that time was already a prominent singer on the Branson Resort scene. The band was initially formed as a pop/soul group in 2003 but, has since gone through a few incarnations after the tragic passing of both Mike and Michelle.a few years after
Regrouping from the lost of two founding members . The band changed lead vocalist and drummers a number of times. They first called on worldbeat vocalist Yahshemabet to front the band which culminated in the release of a single :Another Hungry Mouth" in 2010. However just one year later Bradens young daughter (Debe) would be brought into the lead singer slot. The group had two single releases with the talented young singer in 2011 pop oriented "Know" and the dance romp "I Wanna Dance Old School" which spent over a year in the top twenty of IndieCharts.com
. . In 2012 after the departure of young Debe from the band, Braden decided to take a hiatus from pushing the Rhythymlife brand hooking up with long time friend and guitarist Albert Irving. They decided to record and release several songs Irving had written. It's result was 2015s "We All Love Music" an
8 song album which birth the band Albert Irving and Ving which would tour the next three years til disbanding . In recent years both Irving and Braden have reunited, Both men are now widowed after long term relationships with two wonderful women and have decided to make new music as both a coping mechanism and way of contributing to the comeback of the type of songwriting they believe has been lost today.
In their sixties they both pursued a mission of traveling the country and being a part pf sharing good music and good times with the audiences they encountered. Today they bring that brand of high energy music that keeps the crowds moving. Their presentation takes the form of both contemporary and classic covers and of course their own music gets sprinkled in. These two sixty-somethings are joined on this journey by Braden's 22 year old Son, Darrell Braden Jr. (on drums) and thirty something year old Matthew Field on keyboards. We will end this bio just by saying If you get a chance to attend a performance by these guys by all means do. They won't disappoint
